DriveMate Google Cloud Console Application​

DriveMate can now connect to Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets using DriveMate's shared Google Cloud Console Application. New orgs no longer need to create a Google Cloud project or paste a Client ID and Client Secret to complete setup.

On the DriveMate Setup page you can choose:

  • DriveMate Google Cloud Console Application (default) — ready to use with no Google Cloud setup on your side
  • Your own Google Cloud Console Application — continue managing OAuth credentials in a Google Cloud project you create

Authorization mode (company vs per user) remains a separate setup choice.

Changing the Google application requires re-authorization. Orgs that already use custom Client ID and Secret credentials keep that configuration after upgrade until they switch.
